339 Polymer Clay Challenges

“Daddy, there’s something in my closet,” said Pauleen.

Her dad checked the little girl’s closet and said “Everything’s clear, honey. Now, get to sleep. I love you.”

As her dad turned off the lights, the little girl convinced herself that there is nothing to be scared of and so she closed her eyes…

It did not take long before a squeaking sound of a door was heard. Out in the darkness, something seemed to be coming out from the girl’s closet. A slimy, bloody, creepy creature with six tongues and sharp teeth is longing for the kid’s fresh flesh and blood.

It was past 3:00am when the little girl’s father decided to check her out—only to find out a bed empty of the child and full of blood.

The monster which is said to be living in every child’s bedroom closet was said to be made out of children’s nightmares.

Make Your Own Monster Challenge (October 2014)

It was not long ago since I joined Polymer Clay People Philippines (P3), a private organization composed of Filipino clayists. Members are being evaluated thru point system—attendance, completion of challenge and participation in various polymer clay-related activities. Professional etiquette is greatly valued and intellectual property rights of each artist as well.

I have submitted three (3) entries for different challenges in which photos are provided herein. Amazingly, there are a lot way better clayists than me and I really admire their talents and attention to details. You may want to check out P3’s Facebook page, Philippine Polymer Clay Guild.

Enjoying what you do and facing different challenges are important factors that I treasure the moment I joined P3. I am looking forward to participate in future activities in order to learn more and share the things that I know.
